In an effort to further its community activities, LiveWIRE Brunei a flagship of Brunei Shell Petroleum through its LiveWIRE Brunei Business Network (LWBN), organised a Blood Donation Drive at its Development Unit, BT-Othman Complex on 27th of May. The Drive was organised with the technical assistance from the Blood Transfusion Centre, RIPAS Hospital.
The event was held to promote health awareness amongst LWBN and encourage them to participate in community work through the blood donation drive as well as to help boost the supply in the blood bank for those who need it.
The drive saw an active participation from its members, staffs and volunteers. Altogether, around 50 individuals donated their blood. LiveWIRE Brunei Business Network has also planned to hold such events on a regular basis in future.
